Payment Plans

or American Express. Financial Assistance YMCAs are for people of all genders, faiths, races, abilities, ages, and income. Thanks to the United Way of Wapello County and the Ottumwa YMCA Partner With Youth Campaign, no one is turned away due to the inability to pay. Scholarship Applications are available at the Member Service Desk. Money raised through the Partner With Youth Campaign subsidizes YMCA programs and services for kids, teens and families in the Ottumwa area. Corporate memberships Our corporate rate is a cost effective tool for escalating health care costs while improving the productivity and morale of employees. Kids Cove Want to workout, but don't know what to do with your children? The YMCA offers a fun, safe environment for them to hang out while you get into shape. The Kids Cove is staffed by professional certified employees, and is open to children 6 weeks to 9 years. Limited to 20 children. Parents/Guardians must remain in the YMCA, children must be signed in and out. To use the Kids Cove service you need to first stop by the Member Services Desk and purchase a punch card. We have punch cards that vary in price and amount of punches. There is one punch per child, per visit for a maximum of 2 hours per child. For more information please stop by our member services desk. Sick Policy
1. If your child has a temperature of 100.7 or greater they must be taken home and cannot return for 24 hours. 2. If your child has 2 diarrhea incidents in one hour or 3 in two hours they must be taken home. 3. If your child has pink eye they cannot return without a doctors note. Day Pass Daily Rate: Y Members who have out of town guests (outside of a 50-mile radius) may bring them for free 3 times per year. 5th GRADE FREE PROGRAMALL 5th grade students in the Ottumwa School District are eligible to receive a FREE membership to the YMCA. The FREE membership runs during the current school year from the first day of school until the day school gets out. The FREE membership entitles the student to all service and programs offered at the YMCA for the "member price". Including but not limited to: Afterschool Programs, Swim Lessons, Gymnastics & Youth Fitness Programs. AWAY Program The YMCA is part of a national reciprocal membership program called “Always Welcome at a YMCA” (AWAY). If you are visiting another city that has a participating YMCA, you may use the facility either free or at a reduced rate with your membership card. See YMCA Member Service Desk for details.
